Fashion Design

The Accessories Council is a not-for-profit, international trade organization established in 1994. Our mission is to stimulate global consumer awareness and demand for fashion accessory products.

The California Fashion Association is the forum organized to address the issues of concern to our industry. Manufacturers, suppliers, educational institutions, allied associations, and all apparel-related businesses benefit.

The Costume Designers Guild (CDG) is Local 892 of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (I.A.T.S.E.). The Guild represents Costume Designers, Assistant Costume Designers and Costume Illustrators working at the highest levels of skill and expertise in motion pictures, television and commercials. The CDG promotes and protects the economic status of its members while improving working conditions and raising standards for our craft.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA) is a not-for-profit trade association, founded in 1962, whose membership consists of more than 500 of America’s foremost womenswear, menswear, jewelry and accessory designers.

Fashion Group International (FGI) is a non-profit association promoting the advancement of careers in the fashion and related lifestyle industries. Denver Region was organized in 1958 to bring this mission to Colorado.

With a wealth of talented local designers and fashion community builders in Denver, the mile high city is on the rise as a style scene all of its own. Created as a way to unite local designers with both the public and each other, Fashion Denver works to build networks, create business relationships, and allow the fashion industry to flourish.

The Fashion Industry Association is an organization devoted to helping fashion industry professionals to network and work together towards success. Our vision is to see independent fashion designers, retailers, manufacturers, models, stylists, photographers, hair and makeup artists, and media building their local markets and creating a culture of cooperative business. We believe that cultivating independent talent is in the best interest of consumers and the industry as a whole.

ITAA is a professional, educational association composed of scholars, educators, and students in the textile, apparel, and merchandising disciplines in higher education. ITAA welcomes professionals employed in those fields who wish to join with members of the Association in the pursuit of knowledge, interchange of ideas, and dissemination of knowledge through meetings, special events, and publications.

USFIA represents brands, retailers, importers, and wholesalers based in the United States and doing business globally. Founded in 1989, USFIA works to eliminate tariff and non-tariff barriers that impede the fashion industry’s ability to trade freely and create jobs in the United States.
